Super Eagles head coach, Eric Chelle, has officially settled into his new home in Abuja, according to reports from SCORENigeria.

The Nigeria Football Federation (NFF) has secured a residence for the coach in a prestigious estate in Asokoro, a highbrow district of the capital city.
Unlike his predecessors Gernot Rohr and Jose Peseiro, Chelle has expressed a strong desire to live and work in Nigeria, signaling a hands-on approach to his role with the national team.

Currently, the Malian-born coach is back in the country for crucial meetings with the NFF and key stakeholders as Nigeria intensifies preparations for the upcoming 2026 FIFA World Cup qualifiers against Rwanda and Zimbabwe next month.
The Super Eagles face a daunting challenge in their qualification campaign, sitting second from the bottom in their group with just three points from four matches. With these must-win games ahead, Chelle’s presence in Nigeria could be a significant factor in turning the team’s fortunes around.
