BLUCABANA – Mediterranean, Lebanese, Asian, Nigerian

Our most recommended restaurant in Abuja, of course, as it is on our premises – right next door to Nordic Hotel. Here you can enjoy everything from a freshly prepared salad to a perfectly prepared steak or an amazing pizza and various dishes of the great Lebanese cuisine. It includes both an indoor area as well as the amazing outside area by the beautiful pool which is lit up at night time. On top of it all you’ll of course experience great service.

CANTINA – Italian

Cantina is an Italian restaurant situated in Maitama and one of the best restaurants in Abuja. You’ll get fresh tomatoes with mozzarella or a pasta dish. They also have mouth-watering steaks that are to die for. Especially if you pair it with one of their great South African wines or maybe even an Italian red wine.

The interior of the restaurant is amazing and never before seen in Abuja. A one of a kind restaurant.

LA TAVERNA – Spanish, Chilean

Located on top of the old hotel opposite Adamawa House, La Taverna offers a fusion of Spanish and Chilean cuisine.

Enjoy great tapas with a glass of sangria and continue with paella or a great pasta. Spanish tunes while enjoying the view of Abuja and a glass of Spanish wine.

ARGUNGU – Indian, Nigerian

Located inside Jabi Mall on the lake side you’ll get a special atmosphere when dining in this indian inspired restaurant. The restaurant is named after the fishing festival in Kebbi State, Argungu.

The menu is centred around fish although you can find other dishes.

THE MEXICAN DINER – Mexican

This is a take-away-only place – no dine-in option. But if you’re craving tacos or nachos this could be the place for you to try. Their burritos are famous and quite tasty. They take pride in using the freshest ingredients possible.

This is the first Mexican restaurant in Abuja.

COCO CAFÉ – Mediterranean, Lebanese

Coco Café is located 5 min. from Nordic Hotel, on a roof top. It’s modernly decorated and the food is splendid. Steaks, king prawns or a shawarma – enjoy the food with the view of Jabi Lake – this is an experience in itself.

WAKKIS – Indian

Wakkis is one of our favourite restaurants in town and serves delicious, authentic Indian food. Try the classic Chicken Tikka Masala or their fantastic prawns. The staff is great and friendly.

MASALA WAHALA – Indian

Some of the best Indian food in town. The cuisine is based on the southern Indian kitchen. Great decor, with lots of indoor plants, trees, big clay pots, and good service. They serve seafood dishes, meat, poultry and also vegetarian options.

They often have live piano sessions.

THE GARDEN – Italian, Nigerian

The best pizzas in town. Italian-owned restaurant with a great atmosphere and great wine. Also an amazing place to enjoy a football game on the big screen while enjoying a crisp pizza.

SAWADEE – Thai

CHOPSTICKS – Chinese

It is said that ‘Your Body Is A Temple, Treat It With Respect’ and this can be done when you dine at this Chinese eatery. You can slurp a delicious bowl of noodles that is sprinkled densely with assorted vegetables. It is tucked inside the embassy district and offers a huge selection of the Southeast Asian dishes.

WOKS AND KOI – Chinese

It is one of the leading Chinese restaurants in Abuja and its fare is worth patronizing.

CHARCOAL GRILL – BBQ, Nigerian

Great place in the middle of Abuja. Great food and excellent service. You can dine inside or outside and enjoy breakfast, lunch, coffee and cake and of course dinner. They serve freshly grilled lamb, chicken and steaks among other things.

SERENDIB – Sri Lankan, Indian

They serve a wide variety of Indian and Sri Lankan food.

AL BASHA – Lebanese

Lebanese restaurant. They serve great hummus and kebabs in a good atmosphere. They have both indoor and outdoor seating. We prefer the outside sitting area. Make sure you try their hummus.

NKOYO – Continental, Nigerian, Indian

Serves local as well as continental dishes in a friendly atmosphere. Nkoyo is well-known for its fantastic starters and is a must while in Abuja.

JOHNNY ROCKETS – American BBQ, burgers

American style diner. Cute décor. Great burgers. Also a great place to watch a football game.

JEVINIK – Nigerian

Local Nigerian food – perhaps the best in town. Enjoy freshly prepared Naija dishes. Goat, fish, beef, chicken – they have it all.

ABUJA BOAT CLUB

With a gorgeous and up-close view of the lake, Abuja Boat Club is made out of wood and has similarities to a clubhouse. Get your burger or panini while watching the sun set or enjoy a freshly prepared cocktail in one of the many different seating areas.

SALAMANDER CAFÉ

Enjoy different blends of coffee with freshly prepared club sandwiches and paninis served by friendly staff. The owner is a great host and she makes sure there is a great atmosphere.

Great European styled café with good coffee. Read your favorite magazine while enjoying a drink or a good sandwich. They have a very cozy outdoor area too.

Enjoy a lovely ice cream from Coldstone. You get to mix the ice with different toppings. Portions are big and service is good.

CAFÉ AT DUNES

Enjoy a pizza or pasta in the cafe at the Dunes Center. Prices are reasonable and the food is good.
