EFCC arrests 10 Yahoo suspects in Abuja

The Economic and Financial Crimes Commission, EFCC, Abuja zonal office, Wednesday said it has arrested 10 suspected internet fraudsters, following intelligence report of their suspicious activities.

 

EFCC spokesman, Tony Orilade in a statement made available to newsmen in Abuja said the suspects are, Triumph Chikwendu Madumere, Success Chukwumazu Obasi, Jamila Shuaibu, Bright Idumwonyi Osaigboko and Obasi Wisdom.

Others are Idemudia Emmanuel, Sandra Alang, Stanley Ohiaeri, Samuel Tochukwu and Ikechukwu David Ohiaeri.

 

They were reportedly arrested at Karu and Mpape settlements of Abuja, on February 7.

Apparently, the National Association of Nigerian Prostitutes (NANP) has declared support for the Peoples Democratic Party presidential candidate Atiku Abubakar ahead of the February 16 poll.

The group vowed to mobilize its members across the country for the presidential candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, Alhaji Atiku Abubakar.

Daily Post reports that Secretary General of the group, Sandra Efosa, who confirmed the development on Tuesday evening said hey settled for Atiku after studying his policy documents carefully for several weeks. She confirmed that no fewer than 10,000 members of the Association have stormed Abuja, the nation’s capital ahead of the February 16 presidential and National Assembly elections.

Efosa said under the current government, their ”bed-to-wealth” has suffered low patronage due to harsh economy.
